1. Necessary cookies (always on)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| servedsoul-session | sign-in and session (staff, guest, visitor) | up to 12 hours of inactivity |
| XSRF-TOKEN | protects forms against forged requests | same as the session |
| remember_visitor_… | “stay signed in” for the guest profile | up to 400 days or until sign-out |
| gs_device | permanent token of a paired venue device (tablet at the bar or in the kitchen) | up to 400 days, only on venue devices |
| table session cookie | links you to your table after scanning the QR code | 12 hours |
| gs_consent | remembers your cookie choice | 180 days |
The app also stores the language, design and an offline copy on the device for faster use (the browser’s local storage). These are not tracking cookies.
2. Analytics (only with consent)
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) is loaded on public pages and on the ordering page (guest); it sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years) for aggregated visit statistics. We only send the page address, without table tokens and without personal data. Analytics is never loaded in the staff app or the administration.
3. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer (in the guest app: Profile → Cookie settings). You can block necessary cookies in your browser, but sign-in and ordering will then not work.
